Who We Are
Yorkie Companion Rescue is a Georgia-based nonprofit dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming Yorkshire Terriers throughout the state. From Atlanta to Savannah, Augusta to Macon, we work to give every Yorkie in our care a safe path to a loving, permanent home.
Our mission is simple: no Yorkie should be left without a family. Through foster-based care, veterinary support, and a thorough adoption process, we make sure every dog is healthy, well-socialized, and matched with the right home — not just any home.
Every Yorkie that comes through our rescue receives individual attention. We assess temperament, health needs, and personality so we can pair each dog with adopters whose lifestyle and experience genuinely fit. We believe responsible rehoming isn’t just about placement — it’s about making sure the match lasts a lifetime.
Yorkie Companion Rescue is run by a dedicated team of volunteers, foster families, and Yorkie advocates across Georgia. As a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, every adoption fee and donation goes directly toward veterinary care, foster support, and rescue operations for the dogs still waiting for their forever homes.

Our Impact
